First Quarter Check-in
Time for a check-in on my 30 Things While I'm 30 list!
1. Read 30 books -- So far, I've read 9 and I'm working on my 10!
2. Re-Learn Spanish -- I'm taking classes and really learning!
3. Focus on Photography by participating in Photo Friday -- Yep! And I've joined a Photo group AND I have a showing on April 1st with that group!
4. Proactively celebrate other's birthdays -- Working on this!
5. Knit down stash -- Ermm, need to focus more on this activity
6. Knit Rogue -- I'm starting as soon as I finish the...
7. Finish knitting Yarn Girls Sweater --Just need to knit the front and I hope to get that done this weekend!
8. Learn to knit socks on 2 circular needles -- started this but I need to first finish a hat for my Mom's co-worker.
9. Run the Vancouver 1/2 marathon in 2:50 -- I'm running!
10. Learn the butterfly stroke -- Not there yet, maybe this summer!
11. Learn to Dive -- Not there yet, maybe this summer!
12. Do an Olympic Tri -- Need to select one for this summer!
13. Recycle more -- Yep, doing!
14. Complain less -- Yep, also doing this!
15. Use less, be more environmentally conscious -- This too!
16. Observe more -- I'm journaling and observing!
17. Gather those observations and get them in a book -- need to get to work on this!
18. Declutter! -- I'm moving some stuff to a storage unit out of my brother's house
and will really declutter in May when I do this!
19. Take a photo a day -- My poor cat has been on the receiving end of much of this through the winter months!
20. Respect the Ordinary -- This is an everyday goal and one I enjoy!
21. Appreciate what I have -- as is this one
22. Frame my Cat Poster -- probably this summer
23. Plan what I can, accept what I can't -- Oh I've embraced this! You have to when
you work where I do!
24. Give dating a chance -- OK I've not tried anything yet, looks like I need to do it!
25. Lose more weight -- Yep, lost 2 more pounds, staying on task.
26. Use up beauty products (esp. soap!) before buying more -- Yep! This is going very well!
27. Appreciate my family more -- I love those people!
28. Do a "Carpe Diem" activity with Mot at least once a month -- Still need to do March's with MOT!
29. Attempt Fair Isle knitting -- I'm signing up for a class to take in June.
30. Eat healthier -- I love veggies! Or at least I tell myself that every single day!
Whew! Lots going well but still lots to focus on! I'm on track! It's good to check in!
